Woman Shares Her Mini Cow’s Bath Routine and It Immediately Goes Viral

All pets need a bath at some point, and some enjoy it more than others. Millie, a miniature West Highland cow, has become an internet sensation thanks to her mom's video sharing her bath routine. Millie was brought home by The Husky Fam in September 2023, and since then, her mom has been documenting her life through videos of her firsts, daily routines, and even her grooming sessions.

In mid-July, Millie's mom posted a video showing how she gives her 'dirty cow' a bath, and it quickly went viral. The video is incredibly relaxing to watch. It begins with Millie's mom wetting down her hair, while Millie amusingly tries to drink the water from the shower head. The mom then washes Millie from top to bottom, and Millie seems to thoroughly enjoy the process. After the bath, Millie is dried off with a towel and her hair is blow-dried. To complete the look, she even gets a pretty pink bow, making her look absolutely beautiful.

The video has garnered over 18 million views, 2 million likes, and nearly 15 thousand comments. People found the video incredibly adorable and soothing. One user, @Ayla, received almost 100 thousand likes for her comment, "Spectacular give me 14 of them." Another user, @Mishka_Marley, joked about needing to remodel their bathroom to accommodate a mini cow and order bows for its hair.

Do Mini Cows Make Good Pets?

If you didn't want a cow before, you might after watching Millie's morning routine, which also received millions of views. Mini Highland cows are not only adorable but also very affectionate and loving. They are gentle and good around children, providing an opportunity for kids to learn how to care for an animal that requires more attention than a dog or cat.

However, there are a few considerations before bringing a mini cow into your home. These are farm animals that need room to roam and exercise, requiring at least half to full acre of space for grazing. Additionally, they come with a hefty price tag, averaging between $2,000 to $5,000, which can be a steep investment for a new pet.

Farm animals also require a 24/7 commitment. If your family travels frequently or is often away from home, a mini cow may not be the right pet for you. Unlike dogs or cats, there are no pet hotels for mini cows yet, though their growing popularity might change that in the future.
