Moment Cows Realize It's 'Their Turn' to Meet New Baby Is Everything
He's here! He's here! A group of cow aunties were so excited by the new calf born on the farm. Video taken by their owner shows the cows charging towards the baby. It seems that everyone wanted a look. The cows could hardly contain themselves when little Jasper was finally unveiled to the herd.
Jasper was a surprise. He came 12 days earlier than expected, but he was clearly very much wanted. The clip shows all of the cows at @georgiafarmgirl's farm rushing over to see the calf at the other side of the field. Jasper, meanwhile, was sitting on a patch of grass — just waiting for all that love.
"When the girls realize it's their turn to meet the new baby," their owner wrote in the text overlay. "Safest little guy in the land." No one is going to mess with Jasper. Not with his cow aunties around.
Commenters were gushing over Jasper's warm welcome to the family. "When the tias arrive, you know it's about to be a great day!" wrote one person. "They're so gentle the way they slow down the closer they get," someone else noted. "I love how she’s standing off to the side like yeahhh go on and meet him," another person teased, referring to mama Jade. "Cows remind me of elephants the way they react and welcome new life. So sweet and loving," praised one commenter.
People Online Wanted a Closer Look at Jasper Understandably, people online were just as excited as the calf's aunties. So they asked the cow's owner — could they see the baby too? Thankfully, she was willing to share a follow-up video, which shows the handsome little guy resting in the grass. What a sweetie! The calf was sitting right by his mama too.
Elsewhere on the page, the cow owner explained that the calf's father was very protective of his offspring. His name is, wait for it.... Captain Thunderpants. Not only is that the perfect bull name, but it seems like the big guy is so gentle too. He's been paying close attention to Jasper to make sure that no one gets too close to him. Is there anything better than a protective dad? Another video shows the bull standing in the rain just to keep an eye on his baby. There's really nothing like a father's love.
Jasper has so many cows around him who will protect him while he's young. And one day when he's big and strong, he'll protect the rest of them in return.
